For Workshop Day, Kean University selects various companies to present products and applications that benefit students pursuing future careers as designers. Xencelabs was invited to attend by Professor Efecem Kutuk, Program Coordinator for Industrial Design. The event on November 21st was hosted in their impressive Green Lane Building, which also houses their campus Barnes & Noble store.
Hannah Imperial Cannon and Michelle Martorell from Xencelabs were present to demonstrate our family of products. Students enjoyed using the pen tablets and admired the quality, ergonomics, and sensitivity of our products. Demonstrations included how to speed up workflows using the Quick Keys remote within multiple applications. Students then took turns creating lovely designs and shared insightful stories from their design courses at the university.
During the workshop, a raffle was held for the students. A Xencelabs tote bag was won by Mysara Elsayed and the grand prize of a Pen Tablet Small, was won by Ashlee Norris. Congratulations to both winners and we look forward to another visit to the Kean University campus soon!
