The Xencelabs team is looking forward to AfroAnimation, April 10 – 12, at the Burbank (CA) Marriott Hotel. The event celebrates diverse creative talent in the art and design community and presents a variety of opportunities for individuals interested in the media and entertainment business. The event offers attendees many ways to network, learn and grow. From enlightening and educational presentations by top industry professionals, to portfolio reviews for students and recent graduates looking for advice and ideas on how to improve their animation skills. Additionally, attendees will be able to tour the vendor area and try the latest digital technologies. Xencelabs will be present with its family of pen tablets and pen display to try.
Be sure to check out the Next Top Illustrator competition at the Marriott’s main ballroom, April 11th a 2:00PM. This bracketed, one-hour challenge, sponsored by Xencelabs and using three of the company’s Pen Display 24s, pits multiple artists drawing against each other to make it to the “final three” and a chance to win some amazing prizes including a trip to Cannes, France, Xencelabs products, and Toon Boom Pro annual license. Spectators are encouraged to cheer the artists on. Food and beverages will be served.
