The Fleet Science Center invites you to be the first to experience The Science of Animation, developed by Immersive Enterprise Laboratories (IEL), an independent animation studio and the support of Xencelabs and many other partners. This exhibit will be in the Fleet's second floor galleries for one weekend only.
The exhibition will be open to the public on September 27-28, from 10 am to 5 pm and step inside a live pop-up animation studio to discover the science behind animation. In this experience, guests will join Ruby, a cosmic science adventurer, to explore a real-time animation pipeline through hands-on activities, immersive technology, and creative collaboration.
The Science of Animation includes:
Live demonstrations by professional artists on digital sculpting, creating 3D objects, and world building on Xencelabs digital Pen Displays
Live performance capture with House of Moves and VICON
Virtual camera cinematography where visitors can create their own shots
A chance to collaborate on a connected world build inside Fortnite
IEL has partnered with some of the world's foremost technology companies to create this unique experience. Presented with support from: HP, NVIDIA, AMD, Adobe, VICON, Xencelabs, Maxon, House of Moves, JALI Research Inc., Ozone Story Tech, and PeelDev.
