Xencelabs was invited to the University of Oregon Sports Design MS program's Bootcamp Orientation workshop called Footwear Frankenstein. We provided Medium Pen Tablet bundles for the graduate students to use as they designed a new footwear style by combining high-resolution images of existing shoes. The students got a brief introduction to Xencelabs, and Georgia Powers and Mike McBride provided basic instructions on using a pen tablet, the best reasons why to use pen technology, as well as our Quick Keys. The U of O Sports Design Program is unique because students learn to apply science and creative problem-solving methods to innovate hard and soft goods that push the boundaries in society and sports performance.
