Xencelabs joined the Artisan Social Club at this year’s Toy Fair, September 30th to October 3rd, in New York City to show its Pen Display 24 and family of opaque digital pen tablets. The Club, which secured a booth at this year’s show and invited Xencelabs to join them, helps emerging artists and students get into the toy design industry via mentorship, portfolio reviews, training and social events. Carlos Mendoza III, Brett Klisch, Laurie Conway, Joe Campos, Matt Larson, and Freddy Tutiven, all fantastic designers and illustrators, provided product demonstrations and engaged with students, faculty and administrators from a variety of local schools including, FIT, Kean University, Pratt University Otis College of Art and Design, and SVA. All in all, the show was a grand success, and we look forward to attending next year. There were three lucky winners of the Pen Tablet drawing, so heartfelt congratulations to Antoinee Benjamin, Michael Luk and Saeree Lee for coming away with a new tablet.
