So Good I'm Selling My Intuos Pro
I’ve been using Wacom tablets for over 30 years. I’ve also been restoring high-resolution digital scans of original film for the last 15 years. This film was taken over 60 years ago, mostly images of Marilyn Monroe from the 1950s. Prints from these corrected files can sell for up to thousands of dollars. My current Wacom is the medium Intuos Pro which has been great to work with. The Xence Medium Tablet Bundle is even better!
The biggest improvement is the Bluetooth connection. On the Wacom, the lag time is long enough to make it unusable for me so I have to use the USB connection. Xence uses a private Bluetooth dongle that’s pretty small. There is virtually no lag time, at least I don’t notice it at all.
The Xence tablet has a larger working area that is shaped closer to the modern monitor aspect ratio. The tracking feels more natural on the Xence.
There are only 3 buttons on the Xence tablet, but it comes with a Quick Key unit that includes a scroll wheel and 8 programmable buttons with OLED labels. This is another major advantage over the Wacom capacitive touch ring. On the Wacom, it is very difficult to make small changes, say increasing the brush size from 35 to 40. This is quite easily accomplished with the Xence physical wheel. It also spins freely to quickly make large changes. There is a remote for the Wacom, but that’s another $100.
Xence also provides excellent customer service. I had an issue using it with Topaz Mask AI which would usually crash. They posted an updated driver about 2 weeks after I reported the issue. I learned that I was the only customer with that issue. Now it works perfectly!! Now that's customer service plus...
If I love this so much, why does it only get 4 stars? I rarely, if ever, give 5 stars. This product does deserve a top rating except for one thing. It doesn’t come with a pen stand! Considering how well thought out the Xence is, it is a mystery to me how they missed that one. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I've been looking for something like this for a while.
After my 5th Wacom purchase in the Intuos Pro series I finally said that's enough with the weird bugs, fast wearing nibs and insanely fast surface wear. I've been on Huion for the past several years now but always looking for that new tablet that replaces the 'industry standard'. I watched a couple of reviews on the Xencelabs tablet and asked a few questions about the nib and surface quality. After hearing good reviews after months of use I decided it was time to buy one and boy am I glad I did.
This tablet screams quality the minute you unbox it, from the solid express key remote, tablet and even the case that holds your pens. Right out of the gate it worked across all of my painting apps Sketchbook Pro, Rebelle 4, Artrage Vitae , Clip Studio Pro, Painter 2021, Krita, and Paintstorm studio. The sensitivity of this tablet is something to be experienced at first hand. I'm achieving brushstrokes I haven't seen in a while, the artwork I attached with this review was done in Rebelle 4 with an acrylic flat brush, the sensitivity in the pen alone achieved a lot of the effects seen here.
The battery life on both the remote and tablet are pretty impressive, painted all day with them and it was still over 90%. Wireless tablets in the past have had their fair share of issues but this is the first time I've used one all day without a hiccup.
I think people that give reviews on this product with the

Replaced my Wacom
Absolutely top notch. I have about 50 hours of use under my belt and have found this tablet to be innovative and flawless. The only request I have for Xencelabs is to map the tablet to a vertical orientation in addition to horizontal. I actually emailed this request to them and they replied saying they'd consider the request for a future update. If you are in the market for a tablet buy this bundle now.

Using for some simple Lightroom edits.
This combo is really well made. It exudes quality. Every piece feels great in the hand. The installation was painless and flawless. I like the programmable keys and wheel. I use them for various functions while editing photos in Lightroom. I used the pen for selections and various brushes within Lightroom. I will get more into drawing later and this tablet will be just the thing to get me started. It works fabulously.
