We need someone who can drive relationships with hardware and software partners who are critical to Xencelabs success. Our goal is to be a preferred partner in our key markets. We want close industry relationships to give us visibility to important market and technical trends and we need to make sure our products are properly supported by our partners products. Equally important, we want to create win-win joint marketing and sales programs that build business for our regional and global teams.

Our preferred candidate is someone who likes building relationships, is a team player, loves technology, and has a practical business mind that can see the big picture. This role requires someone who is well organized and can follow-up. This is a job for someone who loves digging in and doing what it takes to move the business ahead.

This person must be able to communicate effectively to various teams within our organization. Preference will be given to someone who understands the animation, 2D & 3D design markets although we are open to someone with alliance experience who is excited to learn our market.

Note: This role includes meetings that are often held outside of typical business hours to accommodate colleagues and customers located in international time zones.


  • Create the groundwork for sustainable relationships with leading hardware and software companies.
  • Keep accurate records of communication and maintain accurate lists of key potential technical and marketing partners.
  • Identify the right people in target companies and facilitate engagement with product and marketing team members. Ensure that Xencelabs is the long-term preferred partner vs competitors.
  • Develop partnership strategies and tactics in support of product and marketing objectives.
  • Help drive our device compatibility and functionality with selected partners.
  • Identify and resolve bugs or other barriers with partner software.
  • Uncover areas of joint innovation. Track partner roadmaps to ensure our products remain best-in-class.
  • Manage partner engagement with joint promotions, tradeshows, communications, advertising, etc.
  • Work with partners to obtain software licenses and hardware for testing and sales activities.
  • Work with hardware and software partners to help them properly evaluate the capabilities of our devices, capturing feedback to enable our teams to modify designs as needed.
  • Recommend product and driver improvements to ensure our products work optimally with partner solutions.
  • Weekly reporting of progress and barriers to success. Participate in product and marketing meetings as needed.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to help communicate partner solution benefits when paired with our products.
  • Xencelabs is a global company. You must be able to work and communicate successfully with team members from different countries and cultures.


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in partner relations or similar role.
  • Outgoing personality that can build relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Familiarity with business contract process.
  • Proven experience in successfully managing projects.
  • Demonstrated interest and aptitude in technology.
  • Understanding of graphics industry.
  • Familiarity with pen tablets, pen displays, and other drawing tools and software.
  • Ability to communicate products, benefits, workflows, and market segments.
  • Ability to translate partner insight into workable solutions.
  • Out of the box, creative thinker, able to see trends, opportunities and how they might apply to our business.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. Comfortable with multiple tasks and ability to wear many hats.


  • Ability to speak, read and write Chinese.


  • Prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, stooping and occasional lifting of up-to 50 pounds.

NOTE: Once Covid restrictions are lifted:

  • Local and US based travel to meet with customers and partners.
  • Possible occasional travel to China.
